What to Know Before Traveling
Best time to travel
If you prefer warm weather then travel to St. Petersburg during spring or early June. Although colder months have as lot to offer too - less tourists, more theatre plays and many exciting winter activities.
Getting around the city
Same as Moscow, St. Petersburg offers its visitors excellent transport options - busses, trolleybus/tram, metro, taxi and even Marshrutka (taxi routed taxicab). We recommend metro for the sightseeing and Marshrutka if you speak Russian.
Recommended Stay time
Stay at least four days to get the real taste of Saint Petersburg. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern capital of Russia.
